Burning Blends

I'm on a mission to find the best cafés in Adelaide. I also review music from time-to-time (and paint some of the album covers)

4.3

A small locally-owned cafe in Torrensville, Pixie and the Hawk offers a unique menu (quirky names for meals) and great coffee, with an easy to miss outdoor seating area that creates a hidden oasis vibe

3.0

Located in Broadway in Glenelg South, this cafe crossed restaurant offers a good selection of drinks & meals, but is a little bit pricey

4.1

Located in Seacliff by the beach, this cafe boasts a very warming and inviting interior with one of best outside seating areas. The warm and friendly staff don't leave you wondering when they're going to come and take your order, and the kitchen serves the food pretty fast for a smaller cafe.

3.1

A tucked away indiecore cafe that doesn't oversell itself. The food and coffee matches what you would think based on the exterior, a no-suprises delicious and ethically sourced drink station with a delicious kitchen to match. If you're ever in the area, this is probably a go-to spot.

3.9

A no-frills cafe in the heart of Adelaide's east end, Nano offers quick, tasty bites at incredibly reasonable prices. With a focus on good food and fast service, this spot is perfect for a casual meal in the city.

4.8

A review of Summertown Studio, a cafe with a record store attached in the middle of the Glenelg-Brighton coast

4.4

A review of Peter Rabbit, an easy-to-miss cafe tucked away in the west end of the city.
